Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy is excited to be able introduce a FULL DAY program for 4 year olds as well as half day programs for 3 and 4 year olds on the school campus in Aspinwall. The pre-school provides the same high-quality educational program that is currently available in the kindergarten through eighth-grade educational setting.The pre-school teacher, Mrs. Christy Blackburn, is a professional educator with Pennsylvania State Certification credentials in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. The curriculum is in accordance with the guidelines of the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
Our Pre-K program offers:
- A five-day (mornings) per week four-year old program of M-F or you may elect three days (mornings) of M/W/F.
- In addition to the half day programs, we also offer a FULL DAY (8:15 - 2:15) option for 4 year olds.
- A two-day (mornings) per week three-year old program of Tu/Th.
- Each half day session is three hours (8:15-11:15 am). Class size will not exceed 25 students.
- Our Pre-K calendar is congruent with the school calendar of Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy with the exception of starting and ending dates. Please verify dates through the school office 412.781.7927.

Our 3-year old program introduces your child to an academic setting. We strive to not only have your child learn their numbers, letters and shapes but to also get along with other children, to share and contribute to the class.
Program is Tuesday & Thursday from 8:15 - 11:15:

The Pre-K program builds on skills learned in the 3-year old program. Children expand upon learning their letters to recognizing letters in words, pre-reading skills and development. Math and science skills are taken to the next level with more complex concepts and projects. Pre-K provides a place where your child will build confidence, play with their peers, and gain a sense of self in a structured environment. Our goal is for your child to be ready for kindergarten, both socially and academically.
Students in the full day program will have lunch, time outside or in the gym, rest time, and engage in group activities.

HALF DAY:
3 Day: Monday, Wednesday Friday from 8:15 - 11:15: $2,675 per child
5 Day: Monday - Friday from 8:15 - 11:15: $3,475 per child
FULL DAY:
3 Day: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:15 - 2:15: $5,075 per child
5 Day: Monday - Friday from 8:15 - 2:15: $6,975 per child
